PepsiCo (NASDAQ: PEP) announced a multi-year strategic collaboration with Google Cloud to enhance its digital capabilities and implement artificial intelligence across its operations. The partnership was disclosed at the Cloud Next '26 conference in Las Vegas.
The collaboration centers on PepsiCo's adoption of Google Cloud's Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform to accelerate decision-making processes across the company's global operations. PepsiCo will migrate portions of its technology infrastructure to Google Cloud's platform as part of its multi-cloud strategy.
The partnership focuses on three areas: expanding data and analytics capabilities through an AI-driven digital platform, optimizing supply chain and go-to-market operations using Gemini's AI capabilities, and integrating AI-enabled workflows to reduce manual tasks for employees.
"As market dynamics and customer expectations evolve, PepsiCo is re-examining how we bring products to market and how we make decisions at scale," said Athina Kanioura, CEO of Latin America Foods and chief strategy and transformation officer at PepsiCo. "Google Cloud's deep expertise in AI and engineering strengthens our best-in-class supply chain and go-to-market capabilities."
Thomas Kurian, CEO of Google Cloud, stated that the partnership will help PepsiCo "build a more resilient supply chain" by putting AI tools in the hands of its workforce.
PepsiCo reported nearly $92 billion in net revenue in 2024, with operations spanning more than 200 countries and territories. The company's portfolio includes brands such as Lay's, Doritos, Gatorade, Pepsi-Cola, and Mountain Dew.
The announcement was made based on a press release from Google Cloud.
