Wolfspeed names Yasuhisa Harita as Asia Pacific regional president

Wolfspeed Inc. (NYSE: WOLF) appointed Yasuhisa Harita as regional president for Asia Pacific, effective June 1, 2026, according to a company statement.
Harita will be based in Tokyo and will oversee the company's commercial strategy across Japan, Korea and the ASEAN region. His responsibilities include driving revenue growth, managing strategic customer relationships, and executing regional commercial and operational objectives.
The new regional president brings over 30 years of experience in expanding Japan-based operations for global semiconductor and technology companies, including Infineon and Micron. Most recently, he served as regional vice president at ams-OSRAM. Harita holds a bachelor's degree in engineering from the University of Tokyo.
In his new role, Harita will develop and implement go-to-market strategies aligned with Wolfspeed's global objectives across automotive, industrial, and energy sectors.
"His regional expertise, strong customer focus and proven track record of commercial execution will be instrumental as we continue to expand our presence and capabilities across the Asia Pacific region," said Robert Feurle, CEO of Wolfspeed.
The appointment is part of Wolfspeed's efforts to strengthen its global commercial leadership team to support growth and execution capabilities.
Wolfspeed specializes in silicon carbide technologies and produces power modules, discrete power devices and power die products for various applications.
