CAVA Group announced that board member Karen Kochevar will retire from the board when her current term expires and will not seek re-election at the 2026 Annual Meeting.
Kochevar will conclude ten years of service on the board, including her tenure during the company's transition from private to public ownership. The Mediterranean fast-casual restaurant company stated that her decision aligns with the board's succession planning process.
"We thank Karen for her long service on our Board and her guidance during a period of tremendous growth and change," said Brett Schulman, co-founder and CEO. "We are profoundly grateful for Karen's service and her contributions over the years."
The announcement was made in a company press release statement. No replacement board member was announced.
