GoPro sets pricing for MISSION 1 cinema cameras starting at $499

GoPro Inc. (NASDAQ: GPRO) announced pricing for its new MISSION 1 Series professional cinema cameras, with the entry-level model starting at $499 for existing subscribers and $599.99 retail price.
The company said its MISSION 1 cameras feature a 50-megapixel 1-inch sensor and GP3 processor, offering 8K and 4K video recording capabilities. The standard MISSION 1 records up to 4K120 Open Gate video and 8K30, while the MISSION 1 PRO captures 8K60 and 4K240 video.
The MISSION 1 PRO is priced at $699.99 retail and $599.99 for subscribers. GoPro also announced bundle editions including the Grip Edition at $779.99 retail, Creator Edition at $1,099.99, and Ultimate Creator Edition at $1,199.99, all with subscriber discounts of $100 to $150.
A third model, MISSION 1 PRO ILS, will feature an interchangeable lens mount compatible with Micro Four Thirds lenses and is scheduled for release in the third quarter of 2026 at $699.99 retail.
Customers can reserve cameras starting April 20 and receive a complimentary Point-and-Shoot Grip valued at $100 while supplies last. Global retail availability begins May 28 for the initial models.
GoPro is showcasing the camera series at the NAB trade show in Las Vegas through April 22. The company also announced a range of accessories including wireless microphones, filters, and battery grips priced from $29.99 to $159.99.
