Sekur Private Data names former CIA executive as chief technology officer
Sekur Private Data Inc. (OTCQB: SWISF) appointed John T. Lewis, a retired CIA Senior Intelligence Service executive, as chief technology officer and strategic advisory board member. Lewis served 34 years at the CIA and received the agency's Trailblazer Medal in 2007.
Lewis joined the CIA in 1988 as a Technical Operations Officer in the Directorate of Science & Technology's Office of Technical Services. He later served as Senior Program Manager and Technical Developer for the CIA's Information Operations Center from 1999 to 2006 and the Office of Technical Collection from 2006 to 2009.
From 2020 to 2023, Lewis served as Deputy Director and Chief Technology Officer of the CIA Research Labs, the agency's first chartered Federal Laboratory. He retired from the CIA in 2023 and currently serves as Teaching Faculty and Business Engagement Director at Arizona State University's Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering.

As CTO, Lewis will lead Sekur's technology strategy and product development direction. The company provides cybersecurity and private communications services to enterprise, government, and defense clients through products including SekurMail, SekurMessenger, and SekurVPN.
Alain Ghiai, CEO of Sekur, said Lewis's appointment will "accelerate our technology roadmap, deepen our push into military and defense communications, and establish Sekur as a trusted leader in Controlled Unclassified Information protection."
