Bristow Group COO of government services to retire this year

Bristow Group Inc. (NYSE: VTOL) announced that Alan Corbett, Chief Operating Officer for Government Services, plans to retire at the end of 2026. Corbett will remain in his position until a successor is appointed and will assist with the leadership transition.

Corbett joined Bristow in 2014 and has held senior leadership roles across the company's international operations, including positions in Europe, Africa, Middle East, Asia, and Search and Rescue divisions. He was appointed to his current role in February 2023.

"Alan's leadership has been instrumental in strengthening and growing our Government Services business," said Chris Bradshaw, Bristow President and Chief Executive Officer. "Under his direction, we secured important long-term contracts and reinforced the Company's position as a trusted partner to government agencies."

During his tenure, Corbett oversaw the expansion of Bristow's Government Services portfolio, securing contracts including the UK Search and Rescue Second-Generation program, the Irish Coast Guard contract, and the Netherlands and Dutch Caribbean Coast Guard programs.

The company has initiated a global search process with an executive search firm to identify Corbett's replacement. Bristow provides aviation services including personnel transportation, search and rescue, and helicopter services to offshore energy companies and government entities globally.
