Raytheon, an RTX (NYSE: RTX) business, has delivered its first Next Generation Jammer pods to the Royal Australian Air Force, according to a company statement.
The Next Generation Jammer is an airborne electronic attack system that contains active electronically scanned arrays operating in mid-band frequency ranges. The system is designed to disrupt enemy radars and communication systems.
The delivery represents a cooperative development and production program between Raytheon, the U.S. Navy, and the Royal Australian Air Force. The first shipset delivery occurred in September 2025, ahead of the original schedule, with additional deliveries planned through 2026.
"This delivery marks a significant milestone in our collaborative efforts with the U.S. Navy and RAAF on NGJ," said Barbara Borgonovi, president of Naval Power at Raytheon.
Raytheon is providing on-site deployment and maintenance support in Australia to support operational readiness. The company has partnered with the U.S. Navy and Royal Australian Air Force since the program's inception.
RTX reported 2025 sales of more than $88 billion and employs over 180,000 people globally. The company is headquartered in Arlington, Virginia.
