GitLab board member Saintil to step down, board size reduced

GitLab Inc. (NASDAQ: GTLB) announced that board member Merline Saintil will step down from the company's board of directors and its Compensation and Leadership Development Committee, effective April 15, 2026.
The company stated that Saintil's departure was not due to any disagreement with GitLab or matters related to its operations, policies, or practices.
Following Saintil's departure, the board will appoint Godfrey Sullivan, currently a board member and Lead Independent Director, to fill the vacancy on the Compensation and Leadership Development Committee.
The board also decided to reduce its size from nine members to eight members, effective the same date as Saintil's departure.
The information was disclosed in a company statement regarding board changes.
