CACI International Inc (NYSE: CACI) received a five-year task order valued at up to $306 million to provide software development and sustainment services to the Defense Logistics Agency, according to a company statement.
The contract extends CACI's work on the Defense Agencies Initiative's Global Model, which aims to standardize financial operations across Department of Defense agencies. The company will deliver software development, enhancement and maintenance services for current and future releases of the Global Model system.
Under the agreement, CACI will provide functional support, analysis and recommendations for implementing capabilities that meet mandated standards for the financial management system. The work includes Agile software development and hands-on assistance for technical implementations.
"CACI has an impeccable track record of improving financial management accountability and integrity, resulting in greater transparency and continuous audit readiness," said John Mengucci, CACI President and Chief Executive Officer.
The company noted that its support of the Global Model contributed to the U.S. Marine Corps receiving its third consecutive unmodified audit opinion for fiscal year 2025.
CACI provides technology services and solutions to national security agencies. The Reston, Virginia-based company employs approximately 27,000 people and is included in the Fortune 500, Russell 1000 Index and S&P MidCap 400 Index.
