AerCap appoints Doug Parker to board, three directors reappointed

AerCap Holdings N.V. (NYSE: AER) announced that its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders held on April 15, 2026, appointed Doug Parker as Non-Executive Director to the Board of Directors. The meeting also approved the re-appointment of Non-Executive Directors Stacey Cartwright, Rita Forst, and Robert Warden.
Julian Branch retired from the board effective at the close of the company's 2026 AGM. Parker brings more than 35 years of aviation industry experience, including his tenure as Chief Executive Officer of American Airlines.
"I am delighted to welcome Doug Parker to the Board," said Aengus Kelly, Chief Executive Officer of AerCap. "With more than 35 years of aviation industry experience, including his tenure as Chief Executive Officer of American Airlines, Doug brings deep insight and perspective that the Board believes will greatly benefit AerCap."
Kelly also thanked Branch for his service, stating he provided "excellent counsel and guidance over his eight years of service to the Board."
AerCap is a Dublin-headquartered aviation leasing company that serves approximately 300 customers worldwide. The company is listed on the New York Stock Exchange and maintains offices in multiple locations including Shannon, Memphis, Miami, Singapore, London, Dubai, Shanghai, and Amsterdam.
