MasterCraft Boat Company announced the return of its X23 boat model after discontinuing it in 2018. The company, a subsidiary of MasterCraft Boat Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: MCFT), said the 23-foot platform has been completely redesigned following eight years of consumer demand for its return.
The new X23 features an evolved hull design working with MasterCraft's SurfStar System and a 3,800-pound ballast system. The boat includes dual panoramic digital displays, keyless ignition, and wireless charging capabilities. Optional features include stern thrusters and a four-camera system with bow, tower, and transom views.
Two engine options are available: Ilmor's 6.2L GDI engine and an optional 6.2L Supercharged engine that produces 630 horsepower and 665 pound-feet of torque. The boat retains the transom loungers that were introduced in the original X23 model, now redesigned with improved ergonomics and premium materials.
"Since the X23 was last in our lineup in 2018, demand for its return has grown immensely," said Greg Miller, MasterCraft's Vice President of Global Sales.
The X23 includes integrated dual rear compartments beneath the seats for storage, accommodating up to four boards in padded bags. The boat features the SoundStage Audio system developed with Meridian and an optional MAAX transom audio system. Built-in telematics through MasterCraft Connect provide remote diagnostics and system monitoring.
The Z9 tower is power-folding and available in seven powder-coat color options. The company stated the information is based on a press release from MasterCraft Boat Company.
