Raytheon wins $3.7 billion Ukraine patriot interceptor contract

Raytheon, a business unit of RTX (NYSE: RTX), announced it signed a $3.7 billion contract to supply Patriot GEM-T interceptors to Ukraine. The contract represents a direct commercial sale to replenish Ukraine's interceptor inventory.

The company plans to use its new GEM-T production facility in Schrobenhausen, Germany, to support the contract. The facility is operated by COMLOG, a joint venture between Raytheon and MBDA Deutschland.

"Raytheon is focused on maximizing production capacity, ensuring a steady, reliable supply of these combat-proven interceptors for the U.S. and allies like Ukraine who rely on Patriot to protect their citizens, infrastructure and sovereignty," said Raytheon President Phil Jasper.

The Patriot Advanced Capability-2 Guidance Enhanced Missile-Tactical interceptors are designed to intercept airborne threats including tactical ballistic missiles. The missiles serve as primary effectors for the Patriot air and missile defense system.

According to the company, the Patriot system serves as the foundation of air defense for 19 countries. RTX reported 2025 sales of more than $88 billion and employs over 180,000 people globally.
