Teradata Corporation (NYSE: TDC) announced the availability of its Analyst Agent on Microsoft Marketplace, according to a company press release. The tool provides AI-assisted analytics for business and data analysts within Azure environments.
The Analyst Agent allows users to query data through a conversational interface without writing code or creating business intelligence reports. The system generates SQL queries on the Teradata platform and provides visualizations to help users identify patterns and trends.
The product includes Agent Telemetry, which captures execution details for each request including performance metrics, cost estimates, model usage, and user feedback. This telemetry system is designed to make the agent's operations observable and auditable, according to the company.
Users can configure quality signals to monitor business priorities such as detecting orchestration loops, identifying prompt weaknesses, or flagging incorrect results. The system allows customers to define quality signals and enforce guardrails aligned with enterprise policies.
"Enterprises don't just need AI that can answer questions, they need AI they can trust, govern, and continuously improve," said Sumeet Arora, Chief Product Officer at Teradata.
Cyril Belikoff, vice president of Microsoft Azure Product Marketing, said Microsoft Marketplace helps organizations connect with solutions in a trusted environment.
The Analyst Agent is designed to integrate with existing Teradata environments, Teradata Enterprise MCP, and Azure platforms. The product is available immediately on Microsoft Marketplace.
Teradata provides cloud analytics and data platform services. Microsoft Marketplace serves as an online destination for customers to purchase cloud solutions and AI applications.
