Howmet Aerospace names Jonathan Arena as chief legal officer

Howmet Aerospace Inc. (NYSE: HWM) announced that Jonathan Arena has joined the company as Executive Vice President, Chief Legal and Compliance Officer and Secretary, according to a press release statement.
Arena will serve on the Howmet Aerospace Executive Leadership Team, which sets strategic direction for the company. He will be based at the company's headquarters in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Arena previously served as Vice President and Chief Counsel at Huntington Ingalls Industries, Newport News Shipbuilding Division. Before that role, he held senior legal positions at The Boeing Company and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration.
Arena holds degrees from The Ohio State University, Washington University in St. Louis and William & Mary law school.
Howmet Aerospace, headquartered in Pittsburgh, provides engineered solutions for the aerospace and transportation industries. The company focuses on jet engine components, aerospace fastening systems, and airframe structural components for aerospace and defense applications, as well as forged aluminum wheels for commercial transportation.
