Five9 names Jay Lee chief marketing and growth officer

Five9 Inc. (NASDAQ: FIVN) appointed Jay Lee as chief marketing and growth officer, effective April 6, 2026. The new role combines global marketing with revenue strategy and operations at the customer experience platform provider.
Lee joins from Icertis, where he served as chief marketing officer leading global marketing and sales development. He previously held the same role at Avalara and worked at GE Capital, American Express, and PayPal in senior positions across finance, marketing, and enterprise technology.
"Jay's appointment comes at a defining moment for Five9 as we continue to accelerate our leadership in AI-powered customer experience," said Amit Mathradas, Five9's chief executive officer. "His ability to connect sales and customer-facing teams with underlying data and analytics to influence how we market is exactly what companies need in this next era of CX."
The appointment reflects Five9's investment in integrating marketing, operations, data, and analytics to accelerate innovation, according to the company's press release statement. Lee will oversee marketing strategy and go-to-market operations for the San Ramon, California-based company.
Lee holds an MBA from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University. Five9 provides customer experience platform services to over 3,000 customers and works with more than 1,400 partners globally.
