NorthStrive amends license deal with MOA Life Plus for muscle assets
NorthStrive Biosciences Inc., a subsidiary of PMGC Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: ELAB), signed a third amendment to its licensing agreement with Korean biotechnology company MOA Life Plus Co. Ltd. (KOSDAQ: 142760) for assets EL-32 and EL-22.
The amendment updates timing and development milestones for human clinical development programs of both assets, according to a company statement. The changes align the schedule with research and development and regulatory expectations of both parties.
NorthStrive's lead asset EL-22 uses an engineered probiotic approach to address muscle preservation during weight loss treatments, including GLP-1 receptor agonists. The company focuses on developing aesthetic medicines through its biopharmaceutical operations.
MOA Life Plus operates as a biotechnology company in Korea, focusing on research and development of therapeutic and wellness technologies. The company partners globally for scientific innovation in human and animal health applications.
