Minerva Neurosciences presents safety data on roluperidone-olanzapine combo

Minerva Neurosciences Inc. (NASDAQ: NERV) presented clinical data from an open-label safety trial evaluating roluperidone co-administered with olanzapine at the 2026 Schizophrenia International Research Society Annual Congress in Florence, Italy.
The trial assessed potential interactions between roluperidone and olanzapine, a widely used antipsychotic medication. According to the presentation, the study showed no clinically significant adverse effects, no meaningful pharmacokinetic changes, and no pharmacodynamic changes during combined administration of the two drugs.
Michael Davidson, Chief Medical Officer of Minerva Neurosciences, delivered the presentation titled "Olanzapine Added to Roluperidone, in Patients With Schizophrenia and Moderate to Severe Negative Symptoms: A Safety Open-Label Trial" on March 26, 2026.
The Burlington, Massachusetts-based clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company is developing roluperidone for the treatment of negative symptoms of schizophrenia. The company stated that its confirmatory Phase 3 trial is currently enrolling patients, with topline data expected in the second half of 2027.
Minerva Neurosciences focuses on developing therapies for central nervous system disorders. The presentation data will be made available on the company's website following the conference.
