Temu owner PDD misses earnings, revenue forecasts in Q4
Investing.com -- PDD Holdings reported fourth-quarter results that fell short of expectations, with earnings and revenue both missing analyst forecasts.
Temu owner reported Q4 earnings per share (EPS) of RMB17.69, below the consensus estimate of RMB20.71. Revenue came in at RMB123.91 billion, up 12% year-over-year, but slightly under the RMB124.71 billion expected by analysts.
For the full year, PDD reported total revenue of RMB431.85 billion, marking a 10% increase from RMB393.84 billion in 2024. The growth was driven primarily by higher revenues from online marketing services and transaction services.
PDD’s adjusted operating profit in the quarter increased to RMB29.47 billion, compared with RMB28.0 billion a year earlier.
