Obagi Medical, part of Waldencast plc (NASDAQ: WALD), announced a collaboration with ProMD Health to evaluate its Obagi saypha MagIQ hyaluronic acid filler through the company's ALOHA Program.
ProMD Health will conduct structured evaluations of the MagIQ product across its network of 17 practice locations in multiple states. The collaboration combines clinical education from Obagi with hands-on experience from ProMD injectors to assess the product alongside comprehensive skincare protocols.
"At ProMD, we take a People First and disciplined approach to evaluating new technologies," said Scott R. Melamed, CEO of ProMD Health. George O. Gavrila, ProMD's founder and chief medical officer, stated the partnership aligns with the company's mission to gather independent clinical feedback in real-world settings.
The ALOHA Program aims to evaluate both clinical efficacy and patient experience while providing integrated protocols to participating providers. Standardized data will be collected across ProMD locations, with findings intended to contribute to evidence supporting MagIQ's performance in aesthetic practice environments.
Drew Fine, Obagi's U.S. General Manager for Professional Channel, noted that ProMD's network and focus on clinical quality make it a valuable addition to the ALOHA partner community.
The Obagi saypha MagIQ product, developed by Croma-Pharma GmbH, uses proprietary MACRO Core Technology to create a three-dimensional hyaluronic acid matrix designed for natural-looking aesthetic results.
According to the announcement, information was provided through a company press release.
