Investing.com -- U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent stated on Thursday that no cost would lead him to tell President Donald Trump that the war on Iran is unaffordable. When asked by Sky News whether a specific price point could prompt such a confrontation with the president, Bessent responded "absolutely not."
The statement comes as Trump administration officials disclosed during a congressional briefing this week that the first six days of military operations against Iran cost the United States at least $11.3 billion, according to a Wednesday report.
