Keysight Technologies Inc. (NYSE: KEYS) announced the integration of its spectrum analyzers and FieldFox handheld analyzers with 3dB Labs' Sceptre software platform. The collaboration enables radio frequency signal monitoring and analysis across mixed receiver environments within a unified workflow.
The integration allows Keysight instruments to operate directly within the Sceptre software environment, supporting real-time and offline spectrum and temporal analysis. Users can monitor signals as they appear, capture activity for later playback, and analyze unknown or interfering signals. The platform supports both attended and unattended operation for long-duration monitoring and RF surveys.
Sceptre connects receivers deployed on stationary or mobile collection platforms and is designed for interoperability with multiple vendor equipment. The software enables teams to move between different hardware systems while maintaining consistent signal analysis capabilities.
"We are excited to partner with Keysight and integrate with their FieldFox handheld analyzers, bringing Sceptre's powerful signal detection, identification, and analysis capabilities to the tactical edge," said Dave Evans, President of 3dB Labs Inc.
Eric Taylor, Vice President of Aerospace, Defense and Government Solutions at Keysight, stated: "By integrating Keysight analyzers into multi-vendor ecosystems, teams can spend less time managing tools and more time understanding the spectrum."
The integration targets organizations operating in dense RF environments that require equipment from multiple vendors while needing consistent spectrum observation and interpretation capabilities. The collaboration aims to reduce friction between measurement hardware and signal analysis workflows.
