Agilent launches unified CDMO division across Canada and United States

Agilent Technologies Inc. (NYSE: A) announced the launch of Agilent Advanced Therapeutics, a unified Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) that integrates the company's capabilities across Canada and the United States.
The new division combines BIOVECTRA in Canada and Nucleic Acid Solutions in Colorado to provide manufacturing solutions for pharmaceutical companies. Agilent Advanced Therapeutics offers services including oligonucleotides, microbial fermentation, complex and synthetic chemistry, bioreagents, highly potent APIs, and cell line development.
The integrated platform provides customers access to development and manufacturing services from discovery and process development through clinical- and commercial-scale manufacturing through a single partner, according to the company's press release.
"The Agilent Advanced Therapeutics solution strengthens our ability to support our customers and reinforces our long-term commitment to growth, investment, and leadership in this space," said Padraig McDonnell, Agilent's President and CEO.
Simon May, president of Agilent's Life Sciences and Diagnostics Markets Group, stated that the launch reflects the combined capabilities of the company's teams and commitment to advancing therapies.
Agilent Technologies generated revenue of $6.95 billion in fiscal year 2025 and employs approximately 18,000 people worldwide. The company provides analytical and clinical laboratory technologies and solutions to customers in various industries.
