VivoPower International PLC (NASDAQ: VVPR) announced its stock ticker will change to "VIVO" effective March 16, 2026, before market open on the Nasdaq stock exchange. The company also changed its corporate name to VivoPower PLC.
The changes align with the company's business focus on developing and owning powered land and data center infrastructure for AI compute applications, according to a company statement. VivoPower describes itself as a B Corp-certified global developer in this sector.
The name change does not affect shareholder rights and requires no action from current shareholders, the company stated.
VivoPower operates by aggregating power-secured land and monetizing it through long-term lease contracts with sovereign nations, hyperscalers, neocloud players, and other tenants. The company's scope includes land, power, and real-estate infrastructure, while technology and operations remain under tenant control.
Founded in 2014 and listed on Nasdaq since 2016, VivoPower operates across the United Kingdom, Australia, North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. The company positions itself as a partner for sovereign nations developing sustainable data center infrastructure.
