Shift4 (NYSE: FOUR) announced executive changes effective April 1, including the appointment of Pier Francesco Nervini as President of Shift4 International and Timothy Goodwin as Chief Payments Officer.
Nervini joins from Global Blue, where he served in senior positions since 2014, most recently as Head of Global Accounts and Head of Commercial for Northern Europe. In his new role, he will oversee all commercial and go-to-market activities outside the Americas.
Goodwin, who joined Shift4 in early 2025 as Senior Vice President of Product, will now lead all payment technology including the company's gateway and processing platforms globally. He brings over 20 years of payments industry experience, having previously served as Chief Product & Technology Officer at Planet Payments and founder of 3C Payments.
The company also announced the departure of Chief Accounting Officer Jay Whalen, who is leaving to pursue an opportunity at a non-competitive company. Filippos Mintiloglitis, formerly of Global Blue's external reporting division, will serve as interim CAO during the transition.
"We are happy to congratulate Pier and Tim on their new roles and thank Jay for the strong foundation he has built within our finance organization," said Taylor Lauber, Chairman & CEO of Shift4, in a statement from the company.
The leadership changes come as the payments technology company continues integrating its Global Blue acquisition and expanding internationally.
