India’s Government Says No Plans to Raise Retail Petrol Prices.

Investing.com -- India’s fuel inventories are increasing daily, according to Reuters on Saturday, as the country navigates its energy procurement strategy amid global market conditions.

The government indicated it would consider purchasing liquefied natural gas from Russia if such supplies are offered and that Indian Oil has booked several oil cargoes for lifting from Yanbu, Saudi Arabia, Reuters reported.

The government currently has no plans to raise retail prices of petrol and diesel.
