WILMINGTON, Del. (Reuters) -There is currently no need for a court to grant Pfizer's request to get involved in its bidding war with Novo Nordisk for Metsera , a Delaware judge said at an emergency hearing on Tuesday.
However, Vice Chancellor Morgan Zurn of Delaware's Court of Chancery scheduled a hearing for 3:15 p.m. EST on Wednesday to review the process, which has led to a $10 billion bid for Metsera from Novo Nordisk, topping Pfizer's amended $8.1 billion offer.
Pfizer has until the close of business on Wednesday to top Novo Nordisk's latest bid.
