Amazon (NASDAQ: AMZN) reported Q2 EPS of $1.68, $0.36 better than the analyst estimate of $1.32. Revenue for the quarter came in at $167.7 billion versus the consensus estimate of $162.05 billion. AWS sales stood at $30.9B.
Third Quarter 2025 Guidance
Net sales are expected to be between $174.0 billion and $179.5 billion (vs analyst estimate of $173.1 billion), or to grow between 10% and 13% compared with third quarter 2024. This guidance anticipates a favorable impact of approximately 130 basis points from foreign exchange rates.
Operating income is expected to be between $15.5 billion and $20.5 billion, compared with $17.4 billion in third quarter 2024.
This guidance assumes, among other things, that no additional business acquisitions, restructurings, or legal settlements are concluded.
