loanDepot (LDI) Misses Q4 EPS by 16c, provides outlook

loanDepot (NYSE: LDI) reported Q4 EPS of ($0.17), $0.16 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.01). Revenue for the quarter came in at $257 million versus the consensus estimate of $310.09 million.

Outlook for the first quarter of 2025

Origination volume of between $4.5 billion and $5.5 billion.
Pull-through weighted rate lock volume of between $4.8 billion and $5.8 billion.
Pull-through weighted gain on sale margin of between 320 basis points and 340 basis points.
