Goldman Sachs analyst Christopher Prykull raised the price target on United Natural Foods (NYSE: UNFI) to $22.00 (from $15.00) while maintaining a Buy rating.
The analyst comments "UNFI traded up +30.6% (vs S&P 500 -0.9%) after its F4Q beat and in-line FY25 guidance, noting positioning was likely a factor as a majority of our investor conversations leaned bearish heading into the print. Additionally, the shift to positive wholesale volumes at the end of the quarter and its newly announced 3-year outlook detailing margin growth amid flat sales reinforce that recent cyclical pressures should be largely in the rearview, with valuation now tracking in-line with its 3-year average. However, secular trends away from conventional (including its own retail business) will likely remain an overhang. We reiterate our Neutral rating with an updated 12-month price target of $22."
