Reliance Steel (RS) Misses Q1 EPS by 25c; misses on guidance

Reliance Steel (NYSE: RS) reported Q1 EPS of $5.30, $0.25 worse than the analyst estimate of $5.55. Revenue for the quarter came in at $3.64 billion versus the consensus estimate of $3.76 billion.

GUIDANCE:

Reliance Steel sees Q2 2024 EPS of $4.70-$4.90, versus the consensus of $5.35.
