Hormel Foods (HRL) Misses Q3 EPS by 1c

Hormel Foods (NYSE: HRL) reported Q3 EPS of $0.40, $0.01 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.41. Revenue for the quarter came in at $3 billion versus the consensus estimate of $3.06 billion.

GUIDANCE:

Hormel Foods sees Q4 2023 revenue of $3.1-3.6 billion, versus the consensus of $3.43 billion. Fourth quarter diluted net earnings per share to be down from last year.

Hormel Foods sees FY2023 EPS of $1.61-$1.67, versus the consensus of $1.73.
