Alaska Air Group (ALK) Misses Q1 EPS by 13c; Reiterates FY Guidance

Alaska Air Group (NYSE: ALK) reported Q1 EPS of ($0.62), $0.13 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.49). Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.2 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.19 billion.

For the full year, the company continues to expect achievement of previous guidance, including adjusted pre-tax margins of 9% to 12%, and earnings per share of $5.50 to $7.50. This guidance assumes a full year tax rate of approximately 25%.
