Burlington Stores (NYSE: BURL) reported Q3 EPS of $0.43, $0.09 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.52. Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.04 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.06 billion.
GUIDANCE:
Burlington Stores sees Q4 2023 EPS of $2.45-$2.75, versus the consensus of $2.61. Comparable store sales to decrease 9% to 6%; this translates to a 3-year geometric comparable store sales stack of down 4% to down 1%
Burlington Stores sees FY2023 EPS of $3.77-$4.07, versus the consensus of $4.00. Comparable store sales to decrease in the range of down 15% to down 14% for Fiscal 2022, on top of the 15% increase during Fiscal 2021; this translates to a 3-year geometric comparable store sales stack of down 2% to down 1% versus Fiscal 2019.
