Brown & Brown (NYSE: BRO) reported Q1 EPS of $0.70, $0.12 better than the analyst estimate of $0.58. Revenue for the quarter came in at $815.3 million versus the consensus estimate of $755.81 million.
J. Powell Brown, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, noted, “We had a great quarter. The results were driven by more new business, good retention, and rate increases across all four divisions. Our team did an outstanding job of delivering for our customers in a work-from-anywhere environment.”
