Bio-Rad Labs (BIO) Tops Q1 EPS by 30c

Bio-Rad Labs (NYSE: BIO) reported Q1 EPS of $1.91, $0.30 better than the analyst estimate of $1.61. Revenue for the quarter came in at $571.6 million versus the consensus estimate of $554.89 million.

2020 Financial Outlook

Given the uncertainties regarding the duration and impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are withdrawing our previously issued annual guidance for this year. We believe our second-quarter year-over-year sales may decline by 10 to 15 percent.
