American Airlines (AAL) Reports In-Line Q4 EPS, Offers FY20 Guidance

American Airlines (NASDAQ: AAL) reported Q4 EPS of $1.15, in-line with the analyst estimate of $1.15. Revenue for the quarter came in at $11.3 billion versus the consensus estimate of $11.32 billion.

GUIDANCE:

American Airlines sees FY2020 EPS of $4.00-$6.00, versus the consensus of $5.10.

• American expects its first-quarter 2020 pre-tax margin excluding net special items to be approximately flat year over year.5 Based on today’s guidance, the company expects its 2020 diluted earnings per share excluding net special items to be between $4.00 and $6.00.5
