Sarepta Therapeutics (NASDAQ: SRPT) 23.4% HIGHER; The U.S. Food and Drug Administration today granted accelerated approval to Sarepta Therapeutics (NASDAQ: SRPT) Vyondys 53 (golodirsen) injection to treat Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) patients who have a confirmed mutation of the dystrophin gene that is amenable to exon 53 skipping. It is estimated that about 8 percent of patients with DMD have this mutation.
Universal Technical Institute, Inc. (NYSE: UTI) 9.4% LOWER; announced today that certain selling stockholders affiliated with Coliseum Capital Partners have commenced a secondary offering of 3,601,724 shares of the Company's common stock.
iHeartMedia, Inc. (NASDAQ: IHRT) 9.2% HIGHER; An affiliate of Liberty Media is seeking Justice Department permission to buy a larger stake in iHeartMedia, Inc. (NASDAQ: IHRT), according to Dow Jones, citing people familiar with the matter.
Aspen Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: ASPU) 7.3% LOWER; announced that Aspen intends to offer and sell shares of its common stock in an underwritten public offering. Aspen also expects to grant to the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 15% of shares of common stock offered in the public offering. There can be no assurance as to whether or when the proposed offering may be completed, or as to the actual size or terms of the offering.
Adobe Systems (NASDAQ: ADBE) 2.5% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of $2.29, $0.03 better than the analyst estimate of $2.26. Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.99 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.97 billion. Adobe Systems sees FY2020 EPS of $9.75, versus the consensus of $9.76. Adobe Systems sees FY2020 revenue of $13.15 billion, versus the consensus of $13.16 billion. Adobe Systems sees Q1 2020 EPS of $2.23, versus the consensus of $2.23. Adobe Systems sees Q1 2020 revenue of $3.04 billion, versus the consensus of $3.09 billion.
Oracle (NYSE: ORCL) 2.4% LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.90, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $0.88. Revenue for the quarter came in at $9.6 billion versus the consensus estimate of $9.65 billion. Oracle (NYSE: ORCL) sees Q3 revenue up 1% to 3% in constant currency. It sees Q3 EPS of $0.96 to $0.98 in constant currency.
Centene Corporation (NYSE: CNC) 2.1% LOWER; announced today its 2020 financial guidance. Total revenues are expected to be $78.6 billion to $79.4 billion, and diluted earnings per share are expected to be $4.17 to $4.33. Adjusted diluted earnings per share for 2020 are expected to be $4.64 to $4.84. (*Consensus sees FY20 EPS of $4.84 on revenue of $79.92 billion)
