Walmart (WMT) Tops Q2 EPS by 5c, Updates Guidance

Walmart (NYSE: WMT) reported Q2 EPS of $1.27, $0.05 better than the analyst estimate of $1.22. Revenue for the quarter came in at $130.4 billion versus the consensus estimate of $130.11 billion.

• Walmart U.S. Q2 comp sales grew 2.8% and Walmart U.S. eCommerce sales grew 37%

Guidance:

• FY20 adjusted EPS is now expected to range between a slight decrease and a slight increase compared with FY19 adjusted EPS.
