Yum China (YUMC) Tops Q1 EPS by 5c

Yum China (NYSE: YUMC) reported Q1 EPS of $0.59, $0.05 better than the analyst estimate of $0.54. Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.3 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.26 billion.

Same-store sales grew 4% year over year, with growth of 5% at KFC and 1% at Pizza Hut, excluding F/X.
