Alcoa (AA) Tops Q2 EPS by 18c

Alcoa (NYSE: AA) reported Q2 EPS of $1.52, $0.18 better than the analyst estimate of $1.34. Revenue for the quarter came in at $3.6 billion versus the consensus estimate of $3.44 billion.

• Alcoa updated its 2018 projection for adjusted EBITDA excluding special items to between $3.0 billion to $3.2 billion, down from $3.5 billion to $3.7 billion1 due to current market prices and other factors
