VMware (VMW) Tops Q1 EPS by 12c; Guides Above Views

VMware (NYSE: VMW) reported Q1 EPS of $1.26, $0.12 better than the analyst estimate of $1.14. Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.01 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.96 billion.

VMware sees Q2 EPS of $1.49 on revenue of $2.15 billion vs consensus of $1.34 on revenue of $2.08 billion.

FY EPS is seen at $6.14 vs $6.02 expected on revenue of $8.78 billion vs $8.73 billion expected.
