Papa John's (PZZA) Misses Q1 EPS by 12c, NA Comps Decline 5.3%, Reaffirms Outlook

Papa John's (NASDAQ: PZZA) reported Q1 EPS of $0.50, $0.12 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.62. Revenue for the quarter came in at $427.4 million versus the consensus estimate of $439.52 million.

2018 Outlook

The company is reaffirming its previously issued 2018 outlook, as we expect our initiatives will result in improved sales and operating results in the last half of the year.
