Enanta Pharma (ENTA) Tops Q1 EPS by 40c

Enanta Pharma (NASDAQ: ENTA) reported Q1 EPS of $0.59, $0.40 better than the analyst estimate of $0.19. Revenue for the quarter came in at $38.1 million versus the consensus estimate of $31.15 million.

Net income for the three months ended December 31, 2017 reflects the $3.8 million, or $0.19 per diluted common share, non-cash charge as a result of the enactment of the U.S. Tax Cuts and Jobs Act in December 2017.
