Francesca's (FRAN) Tops Q2 EPS by 1c, Q3 and FY Guidance Falls Short of Views
Francesca's (NASDAQ: FRAN) reported Q2 EPS of $0.20, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.19. Revenue for the quarter came in at $119.7 million versus the consensus estimate of $119.24 million.

GUIDANCE:
Francesca's sees Q3 2017 EPS of $0.00-$0.05, versus the consensus of $0.22. Francesca's sees Q3 2017 revenue of $105-109 million, versus the consensus of $122.41 million.
- assuming a comparable sales decrease in the mid- to high-teens compared to a 7% comparable sales increase in the prior year.
Francesca's sees FY2017 EPS of $0.71-$0.81, versus the consensus of $0.99. Francesca's sees FY2017 revenue of $481-491 million, versus the consensus of $511.5 million.
- assuming a high-single digit decrease in comparable sales compared to the prior year increase of 2%.
