UPDATE: L Brands (LB) Tops Q2 EPS by 4c, FY & Q3 EPS Guidance Misses Views

L Brands (NYSE: LB) reported Q2 EPS of $0.48, $0.04 better than the analyst estimate of $0.44. Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.76 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.75 billion.

• The company reported a comparable sales decrease of 8 percent for the second quarter ended July 29, 2017.

The company updated its guidance for 2017 full-year earnings per share to $3.00 to $3.20 from $3.10 to $3.40 previously, and issued guidance for third quarter earnings per share between $0.25 and $0.30.

(Street sees FY EPS of $3.23 and Q3 EPS of $0.36)
