U.S. Silica (SLCA) Misses Q2 EPS by 2c, Miss on Revenues

U.S. Silica (NYSE: SLCA) reported Q2 EPS of $0.36, $0.02 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.38. Revenue for the quarter came in at $290.5 million versus the consensus estimate of $313.37 million.

Outlook and Guidance

The Company is updating its full year guidance for capital expenditures. The Company now anticipates that its capital expenditures for the full year 2017 will be in the range of $325 million to $375 million.
