Rockwell Automation (ROK) Tops Q3 EPS by 12c, Beats on Revenues; Raises FY17 EPS Outlook

Rockwell Automation (NYSE: ROK) reported Q3 EPS of $1.76, $0.12 better than the analyst estimate of $1.64. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.6 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.58 billion.

  • Reported sales up 8.5 percent year over year; organic sales up 8.2 percent
  • Diluted EPS of $1.67; Adjusted EPS of $1.76
  • Increasing fiscal 2017 EPS guidance: Diluted EPS $6.21 - $6.41; Adjusted EPS $6.60 - $6.80

GUIDANCE:

Rockwell Automation sees FY2017 EPS of $6.60-$6.80, versus the consensus of $6.66.
