HCA Holdings (HCA) Misses Q2 EPS by 6c

HCA Holdings (NYSE: HCA) reported Q2 EPS of $1.75, $0.06 worse than the analyst estimate of $1.81. Revenue for the quarter came in at $10.73 billion versus the consensus estimate of $10.85 billion.

  • Revenues increased 4.0 percent to $10.733 billion
  • Net income attributable to HCA Healthcare, Inc. totaled $657 million, or $1.75 per diluted share
  • Adjusted EBITDA totaled $2.090 billion
  • Cash flows from operations totaled $1.404 billion
  • Same facility equivalent admissions increased 1.3 percent while same facility admissions increased 0.8 percent
  • Same facility revenue per equivalent admission increased 2.0 percent
