Cooper Cos. (COO) Tops Q2 EPS by 25c

Cooper Cos. (NYSE: COO) reported Q2 EPS of $2.50, $0.25 better than the analyst estimate of $2.25. Revenue for the quarter came in at $522.4 million versus the consensus estimate of $520.66 million.

Commenting on the results, Robert S. Weiss, Cooper’s president and chief executive officer said, “I am pleased to report another strong quarter. CVI grew faster than the market across all geographies driven by success with its silicone hydrogel products and CSI also posted a solid quarter led by its fertility business. As we move into the second half of the fiscal year, we believe we are well positioned to continue posting strong results.”
