L Brands (LB) Tops Q1 EPS by 4c, Revenues In-Line; Increases FY17 EPS Guidance

L Brands (NYSE: LB) reported Q1 EPS of $0.33, $0.04 better than the analyst estimate of $0.29. Revenue for the quarter came in at $4.44 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.44 billion.

GUIDANCE:

L Brands sees FY2017 EPS of $3.10-$3.40.

2017 OutlookThe company increased its guidance for 2017 full-year earnings per share to $3.10 to $3.40 from $3.05 to $3.35 previously, and issued guidance for second quarter earnings per share between $0.40 and $0.45.
